Benefit party for support of civic association Femisphera´s projects
Prague club Mecca decided to support projects of civic association Femisphera by organization of a big benefit party called Mecca dances for Africa. Club also wants to actively join the charitable work this way – the profit from this event will be transmitted not only in favor of Femisphera´s cultural projects but also for a direct support of education in Africa. Members of Femisphera will leave to Kenya in October and try to document one of the scariest African rituals – female circumcision.
Part of finance gained thanks to the mentioned event in club Mecca will be hand over to the Foundation Asante Kenya, which had been established by moderator Lejla Abbasová, honorable member of Femisphera.
Party will be opened for the wide public and will be supported by number of celebrities of Czech media scene. Czech DJs, who gave up their own gratification, will take care of the music. First of them will be Dj Neo, who is winning lost of succeses with his last album Victory. Neo is one of the most Czech selling djs and producers abroad, who has opportunity to edit his releases at the world most respected labels like Subliminal, Vendetta, Hed Kandi or Ministry of Sound. Next performer will be talented dj and producer TT. Soulgangster, who is often remixing Neo’s releases. You can be also looking forward to very favourite Dj Lafayette, Dj Nesquik, MusicMafia Djs with saxophonist Radek Havel or Dj Macio.On the second stage there will perform absolvents from MusicMafia dj school – Dj Oliver White and Dj Fruity.
Untraditionally you can also enjoy live concert of the group PRINCE ALFREDO AND THE WARRIORS. Princ Alfredo is real firstborn princ from king´s family in Democratic republic of Congo. The group plays only Princ Alfredo´s songs and their music style is on the edge of reggae, afropop and worldmusic.
Part of the whole evening will be also a performance of dancers and a public auction of photographs taken in the Democratic republic of Congo, where Femisphera accomplished its first project. Its aim was to draw attention to the catastrophic situation in the war tormented region in the above mentioned country.
