Photo exhibition Three women in Africa, which had its premiere on September 1th 2010 at Old Town Hall has now moved just a bit further. You can find it now in another of Prague's historic buildings - the New Town Hall on Charles Square in Prague. There are large-format photographs of three photographers - Lenka Klicperova, Jarmila Kovaříková Taylor and Libya. The exhibition will be opened till 2nd of January 2011. Roman-gothic rooms in Old Town Hall in Prague

The exhibition is take place under the patronage of Mayor of the City of Prague and Czech photo.
Proceeds from the exhibition will be donated to the Tereza Maxova Foundation for Children.
The exhibition presents the work of three photographers – women, who are focused on Africa and its topics. The connecting element is a female perspective on African issues and passion for black continent. All of them have been awarded at the prestigious competition Czech Press Photo. |

Benefit party for support of civic association Femisphera´s projects
Prague club Mecca decided to support projects of civic association Femisphera by organization of a big benefit party called Mecca dances for Africa. Club also wants to actively join the charitable work this way – the profit from this event will be transmitted not only in favor of Femisphera´s cultural projects but also for a direct support of education in Africa. Members of Femisphera will leave to Kenya in October and try to document one of the scariest African rituals – female circumcision.
